At the historic 'Skovriderkroen' in Charlottenlund, north of Copenhagen, Denmark, a new dinner club opened its doors on May 4th: Pangea. Nuura is proud of providing lamps to the dinner club.

The inspiration for combining restaurant and nightclub comes from London, Paris and New York - and the décor also has a touch of Marrakech. The idea is to eat and party under the same roof so that guests can sit at the tables as long as they want or until the dancing takes over.

On May 4th Pangea opened its doors and welcomes its guests to the new exclusive venue. Characteristic of the concept, and as a counterweight to the tendency to hurry restaurant guests through several seatings on an evening to optimise earnings, Pangea only runs one seating per week, where guests stay and party until the bright morning.

Nuuras Liila 1 provides a playful and evocative light at the bar area. The single lamp, Liila 1, is available in two sizes and colours and both versions are ideal for hallways, smaller rooms or spaces with low ceilings. It is simple in its form, consisting of a thin round sheet of metal and a unique, mouth-blown glass sphere in two options - Optic Clear glass that creates beautiful reflections of light and Opal White that gives a soft diffused light.

The idea behind the collection is to create wall and ceiling lighting, with glass as the focal point. The mouth-blown glass is mounted on a metal disc, which gives the glass a floating appearance, creating elegant lighting with references to the summer sun.
