Sculptural Minimalism - Frame

Of all the new collections coming out this Spring, I’m always looking forward to the one of Kristina Dam Studio. Their designs have a distinctive Scandinavian and architectural expression, which are easily recognized by their clean lines and beautiful materials.

With the SS22 collection Kristina Dam Studio is framing the first 10 years of interior ingenuity and sculptural minimalism. It’s the clean, honest, and contemporary designs that epitomize Kristina Dam Studio - conceptualized in their anniversary piece: The Frame Sculpture.

Kristina Dam Studio describes it like this: “It is in the interplay between light and shadow, graphic shapes and interior functions that our Sculptural Minimalism is shaped; shaped to suit contemporary spaces and modern-day life. “

One of my favorites of the collection - The Cone Lamp - accentuates the appeal of contrasting materials - warm walnut details and brushed steel – and purposeful geometric shapes The cool aluminum cones, the warmth of the wooden details and the clean light epitomize minimalist contrasts done right. The Cone Lamp series consists of a new floor lamp, a classic pendant in two sizes, a versatile table lamp and the elegant spinning top.

Another favorite - The beautiful new tray table is inspired by the Japanese design tradition and the incense boxes of the Edo era, Kristina Dam Studio has envisioned a Scandinavian take on the versatile tray tables and I really love their clean look. you will find more Kristina Dam studio news here.
