First there was a bin, then a table and a chair, then a kitchen…and now Vipp starts to cook. In Copenhagen’s area of lslands Brygge, Vipp has transformed a 100-year-old pencil factory into a social dining room dedicated to sharpening the senses. Vipp Pencil Factory is a scene for talented chefs to host pop-up supper clubs and first in line is Riccardo Canella, former R&D sous chef at Noma - Vipp

Danish homeware brand Vipp has expanded into food by creating this amazing social dining room inside a former pencil factory in Copenhagen. Vipp Pencil Factory is a 400-square-metre showroom space that will host guest chefs from around the world, creating a dining experience for up to 26 guests.

The entire factory space, designed by interior designer Julie Cloos Mølsgaardusing, is decorated in a bright and elegant material palette with a string of carefully curated art pieces that include paintings, ceramics, sculptures, and conceptual installations mixed with Vipp’s collection. Containing a gallery vibe, the space is curated with art objects from Galleri Nils Stærk, Etage Projects, Collaborations by Tania and Thomas Asbæk, 2112, and others.

The launch will take place during design festival 3 Days of Design with a public bar and I would love to admire this stunning place when we will be at this design event in September. It all looks so inspiring! - Elvera
