New home accessories 2021 - MENU

This week MENU has released their new home accesories and it’s always so inspiring to admire their press images in our mailbox !

In addition to renewed products as the warm, amber-coloured glass Échasse Collection, the Bottle Grinder in tactile ceramic, the monuments magazine holder, the Duca candle holder in a rich olive-green hue and the Carrie collection featured in bronzed brass and cognac leather, I was attracted immediately by the new items; The stunning minimalist Plinth Shelf and the stylish Ribbon basket, both designed by Norm Architects. The Ribbon Basket is Norm Architects latest piece for MENU, providing valuable storage space for magazines, home textiles, accessories, games and more. Generously sized, the multi-purpose piece is a fusion of simple, Japanese aesthetics and mid-century modern design. It is crafted from powder coated metal, precision cut in rhythmic repetitions that give the modern storage solution a traditionalist feel.

The Plinth Shelf is an elegant and purposeful addition to any space, elevating the look of a room thanks to its natural beauty. Offered in Grey Kendzo - a rich, brilliant white veined marble selected for its beauty and light-reflecting qualities - the 60 cm long shelf can be attached horizontally to a wall for use as a bookshelf, or vertically as a wall-mounted podium

The latest addition to the Carrie collection features bronzed brass and cognac leather, adding an air of exclusivity to the go-anywhere design. Bound with soft yet durable leather on its basket-like base, which holds a warm orb of light adjustable to three settings, Carrie moves effortlessly from the table to the terrasse or a bookcase to a desk, illuminating the dark with its sophisticated glow.

Designed for MENU by Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen, the elegant and adjustable design is versioned for the new season in a rich olive-green hue. Cast from aluminium and steel, its lower half is entwined with rattan for a tactile contrast to the smooth metal. Place it on a dining table, mantlepiece or desk to bring a sense of intimacy and warmth to surroundings.
