Designer Joost van der Vecht drew the design of the Node series, consisting of a table in various versions with a matching bench. As focal point in a living space, Joost chose in his design inviting shapes with rounded corners and round legs. The name Node refers to the unfolding of legs from under the leaf; just like branches sprout from a stem. The table lends itself to multiple applications – from fine dining table for dinners with friends and family to a place at which can be worked.

Perfect to add in a larger working area as well, Loof will be focusing on the project market as well from now on.

Bench Node is made out of multiplex: consi-sting of several layers of birch, laminated with high quality oak veneer. The layered effect of the multiplex and the structure of the oak veneer create a nuanced interplay of lines. The bench is finished with a vegetable oil made from linseed. The legs are made from solid oak and are treated with the same oil as the rest. Finishing with oil has the advantage that after any surface damage or scratches the wood is easy to repair.
