I've said it before and I'm sure that I'm not the only one, but one of my guilty pleasures is to admire the feeds of Scandinavian real estate agencies when I’m scrolling through my instagram timeline. It’s because the quality of styling teams is so high and there are many different styles on display, I often get a lot of inspiration by visiting them!

This time I ended up at the feed of  Alvhem  where I was attracted by an image of this amazing dream kitchen in dark stained oak.

Previously this kitchen was a bedroom which makes the kitchen unusually large to be a turn of the century apartment. The walls are painted up to three quarters in the color Olive Brown from Jotun and the ceiling and remainder of the wall are painted in the color Dijon Yellow, which gives this space a very cosy and inviting atmosphere. The kitchen is site-built by Taras Hallgren (a local carpentry) in beautiful dark-stained oak and matt lacquered black doors with a counter top of carrara marble and I just love this stunning combination. The lines of the wooden floor, the wall-mounted black AJ lamps by Louis Poulsen and the stylish white W171 Alma lamp for Wästberg are real eyecatchers and the perfect finishing touch, don’t you think so?
