fair inspiration - Eigen huis & Interieur magazine
It has been a while since I posted a post on Sunday. When I first started blogging I did this regularly and this morning I thought to myself that it always has been so nice to watch my favorite sites on my free Sunday and to get inspiration from everything that happened this week at the interior world by admiring snapshots.
This week we visited the Vtwonenendesign fair with the Aprilandmay team. At this Dutch Interior fair it is tradition that several interior and design magazines create their own stand and show their identity and ideas to the readers.
One of the inspiration houses at the fair is from Eigen Huis & Interieur magazine, an incredibly beautiful pavilion with a tranquil, minimalist look and definitely our favorite this year!
At the site of the fair we read that the base for the design of this place is in particular nature. Designer/stylist Floor Knaapen played with light just as the Japanese architect Tadao Ando does by using many vistas, stairs and corridors. In this way she deals with dimensions and surfaces in a new way.
This is partly out of necessity: because she does not have an infinite number of square meters at her disposal, she has to deal with the available space in a smart way. But at the same time it also meets the current need of people to live 'differently', for example in former factories or garages.
Today some snapshots of this very inspiring home, where you can discover the beautiful furniture and accessories from brands as Menuworld, Andtradition, Bulthaup Kitchens Nederland, Mae Engelgeer, Moroso, Spectrum furniture, Moebecph, Xlboom, Paola Lenti and it was so nice to discover the beautiful Loof furniture Sight mirrors, designed by April and May at this amazing place. Have you seen them?
